Security Risk Assessment Guide

What SOC 2 is (really), and how do you get there?

1. Understanding the service

A site-focused review of people, premises and assets that identifies practical priorities for guarding, access, surveillance and emergency preparedness.

2. Where it fits in Uganda

Property owners, facility managers and business leaders. Begin with your actual site, occupancy and daily operating needs. Confirm local coverage before making deployment plans.

3. What to include in the scope

  • Site surveys and vulnerability reviews
  • People and asset risk identification
  • Prioritized improvement plans
  • Security budget and scope planning

4. Preparing for a consultation

Prepare the location, site type, hours, key concerns and any existing protection arrangements. Identify a person who can explain daily operations and approve the proposed scope.

5. Before commencement

Agree duties, supervision, equipment, handover records and emergency contacts. Make sure responsibilities and service limits are clear to the people involved.

6. Reviewing the arrangement

Use incident records, site observations and client feedback to keep the plan current. Changes to occupancy, operations or property use may call for a fresh assessment.

7. Next steps

Discuss your requirements with Security Consultants. This guide is general planning information; a proposal defines the actual service.
